TCG Real Estate, part of diversified business conglomerate The Chatterjee Group (TCG), has ventured into the premium managed-living space with Yukio, a new-age residential brand designed for ambitious young professionals.

The move marks TCG’s entry into one of India’s emerging residential asset classes, where managed living is evolving beyond basic accommodation to create a more holistic lifestyle ecosystem. Yukio combines ready-to-move-in residences with curated amenities and community-focused experiences aimed at helping residents live, connect, learn, and grow.
The brand’s offerings include a game lounge, gym, yoga deck, and basketball ground along with a range of community-driven activities. Residents also have access to ergonomically designed spaces, nutritious meals, professional housekeeping, laundry services, wellness facilities, and digitally enabled resident services.
Sharing the vision behind Yukio, Pratap Chatterjee, Founding Leader and Executive Director-CFO of TCG Real Estate, said, “India’s urban housing landscape is evolving rapidly, with young professionals seeking higher living standards and a stronger sense of belonging. Through Yukio, the TCG has entered a category that moves beyond traditional rental housing to build an ecosystem where residents can live, learn and grow.”
He further added, “From technology-enabled experiences to our signature Growth Lab, featuring workshops and networking opportunities, Yukio is designed to support the aspirations of the upwardly mobile young professionals.”
Within less than a year of its launch, Yukio has scaled its residential capacity to more than 1,000 beds across two properties in Pune — Yukio Jobs and Yukio Gates. The brand aims to combine the convenience of professionally managed accommodation with an environment that encourages social interaction, wellness and personal development.
Its Growth Lab is positioned as a key differentiator, offering residents access to workshops, networking opportunities, and other experiences intended to support both personal and professional growth. The overall proposition reflects the changing expectations of young urban residents, who are increasingly looking for accommodation that offers more than just a place to stay.
Following its initial expansion in Pune, Yukio is now preparing to enter other major metropolitan cities across India. The company plans to take its premium managed-living model to a wider base of young professionals as demand for organised and experience-led rental housing continues to grow.
Commenting on the brand’s performance and future plans, Chatterjee said, “The positive response in Pune underscores the growing demand for professionally managed accommodation in India and strengthens our confidence in the sector’s long-term prospects. We are therefore accelerating our growth plans with the addition of another 1,500 beds over the next year.”
With its focus on hospitality-led services, technology, wellness, and community building, Yukio represents TCG Real Estate’s broader push into emerging residential formats and its ambition to create a differentiated managed-living experience for India’s increasingly mobile young workforce.
