Bobby Deol has nothing but admiration for Alpha, the upcoming YRF action entertainer led by Alia Bhatt and Sharvari. The actor says he thoroughly enjoyed being part of the film and believes it marks an exciting step forward for Indian cinema by putting two women at the center of a high-octane action story.
Reflecting on the project, Bobby emphasized that he had long wanted to collaborate with both Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. “I am very fond of both Ranbir and Alia and always hoped to work with them. After working with Ranbir in Animal, Alpha gave me the chance to collaborate with Alia, and it was a wonderful experience. What makes this film particularly special is that it’s a full-fledged action entertainer led by two women. That’s something audiences in India don’t get to see often. Alpha feels fresh, exciting, and offers a new cinematic experience for viewers,” shared Bobby.
The actor was especially impressed by Alia’s dedication while preparing for a physically demanding role. He praised her professionalism and commitment to making the action sequences look authentic on screen.
“Alia is among the most sincere and hardworking actors I’ve worked with. She arrives on set fully prepared and completely immersed in her character. Since this was a genre she hadn’t explored before, I was amazed by the effort she put into training and preparation. Action is never easy, but she committed herself wholeheartedly and gave it everything she had,” he remarked.
Bobby also underlined the vision behind the film’s action design, revealing that producer Aditya Chopra and director Shiv Rawail wanted every sequence to feel grounded and believable.
“Adi and Shiv were very clear that the action needed to look raw and realistic. That approach made the shoot physically demanding for all of us, but it also helped create something special. I am happy with what we have achieved and hope audiences have a great time watching the film on the big screen,” added Bobby.
Directed by Shiv Rawail, known for the acclaimed series The Railway Men, Alpha also features Anil Kapoor in a key role. The much-anticipated action thriller is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on July 10, 2026.
