Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has married his longtime partner Gauri Spratt in a private ceremony held at his residence in Mumbai on July 5, 2026. The couple opted for a simple registered marriage attended by close family members and a small circle of friends, staying true to their preference for a low-key celebration.

The wedding took place at Khan’s Pali Hill home in Bandra, where the couple signed their marriage registration papers in the presence of loved ones. The official photograph released after the ceremony showed Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt completing the registration process, marking the beginning of a new chapter in their relationship.
In the days leading up to the wedding, Aamir Khan had confirmed that the ceremony would be held at home and described it as a “gharelu shaadi,” emphasizing that it would remain an intimate affair rather than a lavish celebrity event. He had requested blessings from fans while asking for privacy during the celebrations.
Family played a central role in the ceremony. Reports indicated that Aamir’s children – Junaid Khan, Ira Khan, and Azad Rao Khan as well as Gauri Spratt’s son were part of the celebrations. Close friends and a limited number of guests from the film industry also attended the event.
Aamir Khan, 61, publicly introduced Gauri Spratt as his partner during his 60th birthday celebrations in 2025. The actor had revealed that they had known each other for many years before reconnecting and beginning a relationship. Since then, the couple has largely kept their personal life away from the public eye.
This is Aamir Khan’s third marriage. He was previously married to Reena Dutta, with whom he has two children, Junaid and Ira, and later to filmmaker Kiran Rao. Although Khan and Rao separated in 2021, they have continued to co-parent their son, Azad.
The wedding reflects the actor’s preference for simplicity despite his stature in the film industry. Rather than a grand destination celebration or a star-studded extravaganza, the couple chose an understated ceremony focused on family, close friends, and privacy, making it one of Bollywood’s most talked-about yet intimate weddings of the year.
