After winning hearts as an actor for over two decades, Rahil Azam has taken a significant leap in his creative journey with the launch of Shiddat: Strength of Emotion. The revenge-themed musical marks his directorial debut, with Rahil wearing multiple hats as writer, director, producer and editor.
The grand launch turned into a star-studded celebration as industry colleagues and well-wishers, including Rupali Ganguly, Rajan Shahi, Raju Kher, Gulki Joshi, Hunar Hali, Vahbbiz Dorabjee, Dalljiet Kaur, Manish Naggdev, Adrija Roy, Ishika Shahi among many others, gathered to congratulate Rahil on this milestone.
Produced under Rahil’s banner, Vision of Passion, Shiddat: Strength of Emotion features him opposite Preeti Chaudhary. The music, lyrics and vocals are by Vinay Raj Saxena, while the project has been distributed by Prashi Digital.
Known for his memorable performances on Indian television, Rahil has always nurtured a passion for storytelling. With Shiddat, he finally brings that long-cherished vision to life, taking complete creative ownership of the project from conception to the final edit.
Sharing his emotions about the project, Rahil Azam said, “Shiddat has been incredibly special to me from day one. I always envisioned presenting myself in a way audiences hadn’t seen before. I wanted to be involved in every aspect of the filmmaking process, especially the edit, because that’s where emotions truly come alive. There were sleepless nights, moments of self-doubt and constant learning, but that’s the journey of creating something you genuinely believe in.”
