British cosmetics brand LUSH, globally celebrated for its fresh, cruelty-free and ethically made beauty products, has officially entered the Indian market with the opening of its first retail store at Nexus Select Citywalk, Saket, Delhi.

This milestone marks the beginning of LUSH’s India journey and signals the brand’s long-term commitment to the country. The store was inaugurated by Vishal Anand, Founder and CEO of Bilberry Brands India Private Limited, alongside Sophie Matheson, Senior Global Business Development Retail Manager at LUSH.
Designed to deliver LUSH’s iconic immersive and sensorial retail experience, the Nexus Select Citywalk store offers Indian consumers a first-of-its-kind interaction with the brand. The Delhi opening is the first step in LUSH’s broader India expansion, with additional stores planned in Mumbai and Bengaluru in the coming months. Together, these launches reflect LUSH’s strategy to establish a strong omni-channel presence in the Indian market.
Speaking at the launch, Vishal Anand shared, “Bringing LUSH to India is deeply personal for me. This is not just the opening of a store—it marks the beginning of a movement rooted in freshness, ethics and conscious beauty. Indian consumers are increasingly seeking transparency and authenticity, and LUSH embodies these values without compromise. Our first store at Nexus Select Citywalk is only the start of a long-term journey to build LUSH in India with integrity, celebrating handmade craftsmanship, ethical sourcing and fresh ingredients.”
Sophie Matheson added, “A LUSH store is much more than a retail space. It’s a place where creativity and conscious beauty come to life. This store allows us to deliver the authentic LUSH experience that customers love globally, while thoughtfully building a local community in India that shares our values of sustainability, transparency and fun. We’re excited to showcase our complete product range and bring the true LUSH experience to Indian customers.”
The store features a wide selection of LUSH’s globally loved products across skin, hair care, bath body, and fragrance. Indian consumers will have access to innovative offerings like fresh face masks, solid shampoo bars, and seasonal limited editions, along with the brand’s iconic bath bombs—originally invented by LUSH Co-Founder Mo Constantine in 1989—which have since become a global phenomenon, with over 21.2 million sold annually worldwide.
Founded in the UK in 1995, LUSH has grown into a global leader in conscious beauty, driven by sustainability, inclusivity and activism. Today, the brand operates in over 50 countries with more than 850 stores worldwide, and its entry into India marks a significant new chapter in its global story.
