Not every celebrity wedding arrives with a parade of elephants, endless guest lists and a week-long celebration. Some unfold quietly, almost like a scene from a film—personal, warm and filled with the people who matter most. That was exactly the mood when actor Kritika Kamra and television host Gaurav Kapur chose to begin their married life together on March 11, 2026.

The couple tied the knot at their Bandra home in an intimate ceremony that felt more like a gathering of loved ones than a high-profile Bollywood event. Instead of a sprawling destination wedding, Kritika and Gaurav opted for a registered marriage followed by a small pooja on the terrace of their residence. Surrounded by family and a handful of close friends, the moment was simple yet deeply meaningful.
But even the most private weddings can’t escape the internet for long. Soon after the ceremony, photos and videos from the evening began circulating online, giving fans a glimpse of the celebration. One of the most talked-about clips shows actor Farhan Akhtar sharing the dance floor with former cricketers Yuvraj Singh and Virender Sehwag as the bride and groom entered the venue. The spontaneous dancing set the tone for an evening that was clearly more about joy than formality.
The guest list reflected the couple’s friendships across industries. Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech were among those in attendance, along with Malaika Arora and cricket couple Zaheer Khan and Sagarika Ghatge. The wedding pictures that followed quickly went viral, with fans calling them dreamy and refreshingly understated.
If the wedding itself was intimate, the celebrations continued the next evening with a stylish after-party on March 12. The gathering drew several well-known faces from the entertainment world, including Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar, Naseeruddin Shah, Angad Bedi with Neha Dhupia, Amrita Arora with Shakeel Ladak, and television actor Nakuul Mehta with his wife Jankee.
Kritika turned heads at the reception in an archival Galliano-era Dior gown. The dove-grey draped silhouette paired with statement jewellery added a touch of vintage glamour to the otherwise relaxed celebration.
Meanwhile, Gaurav ensured the evening had its share of playful moments. In one video that has since gone viral, he broke into the famous hook steps of the song “Oh Oh Jaane Jana,” originally filmed on Salman Khan. A bridesmaid joined him mid-performance, perfectly matching his moves, while Kritika watched the surprise with a shy smile. In another clip from the evening, the sports presenter went down on one knee while the song “Mujhse Shaadi Karogi” played in the background, turning the moment into a lighthearted declaration of love.
For fans who had followed the rumours about their relationship, the wedding felt like the natural next chapter. Kritika and Gaurav had publicly confirmed they were together in December 2025 after months of speculation. Their story reportedly began on the sets of The Great Shamshuddin Family, where what started as friendship gradually turned into something deeper.
Despite coming from different corners of the entertainment world, both have carved out successful careers. Kritika, now 37, became a household name with television shows such as Kitani Mohabbat Hai, Kuch Toh Log Kahenge and Reporters, before moving into films and OTT projects like Bheed, Tandav and Bambai Meri Jaan. Gaurav Kapur, 44, is best known as a charismatic sports presenter and as creator of the widely loved talk show Breakfast with Champions.
A day after their wedding, the couple shared photos from their big day on Instagram with a caption that captured the emotion of the moment perfectly: “This time yesterday, we said yes to forever ❤️ 11.03.2026.”
